Important Notice on Daegu Commuter Bus Service Adjustments for the 2025 Spring Semester

Dear members of the university,
In response to changes in the overall commuting patterns of Daegu’s commuter bus system and improvements in regional transportation, including the opening of the Daegyeong Line, several bus routes will undergo adjustments and changes starting from the 2025 Spring Semester.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation as we transition to the new system.
Please familiarize yourselves with the updated routes, schedules, and usage guidelines to ensure a smooth implementation of the new commuter bus service.
- Service Period: March 4, 2025 (Tuesday) to December 22, 2025 (Monday)
- Operating Routes: 10 routes for both inbound and outbound commuting.
- For detailed information on all routes and pick-up locations for school arrival, please refer to the attached document.
- How to Use the Service
Reservation: Only available to university members. You must reserve through the "Kumoh National Institute of Technology" app or the official website (bus.kumoh.ac.kr) before boarding.
Reservation & Cancellation:
Reservation: Available from 20:00, 7 days before the boarding date, up to the scheduled arrival time at the route's destination (for outbound buses: school departure time).
- For the first day of the semester (March 4), reservations will open on February 25 at 20:00. Afterward, reservations will be available every weekday at 20:00.
Cancellation: Cancellations can be made immediately after reservation and up to 1 hour before the vehicle reaches its destination (for outbound buses: school departure).
App Update Notice: Please ensure your location settings are enabled in the app to make a reservation.
Ticket Transfer or Resale: It is strictly prohibited to sell or transfer tickets between individuals. Any violations will result in a permanent ban for both parties from using the service.
No-Show Prevention Measures:
QR Code Tagging (pilot program in March, full implementation starting in April): Each reserved seat will have a QR code tag. Failure to scan the tag will be considered a no-show.
No-Show Penalties:
- 1st occurrence: 1-week ban
- 2nd occurrence: 1-month ban
- 3rd occurrence: 4-month ban
Please cancel in advance if you are unable to board after making a reservation.
- Passenger Guidelines
Health & Safety: Since the buses are enclosed, please wear a mask if you have respiratory issues.
In-Vehicle Etiquette: Please refrain from talking, making phone calls, or consuming food or drinks during the ride.
Safety Regulations: Any behavior that threatens the safety of the driver or other passengers is strictly prohibited.
