Energy Electrochemistry Lab

Energy Electrochemistry Laboratory at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (kit.kumoh.ac.kr/~electrochem), Korea cordially invites applications for graduate positions. (PhD or Master’s degree) This lab is financially supported by the prestigious BK plus program, which sponsors graduate students. Students who want to explore exciting opportunities to conduct original research in a nationally funded Korean university are encouraged to apply.

  3. Application Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Materials Science, or other related fields
    • Decent English communication skills (an English test score required*)
      * Minimum score: TOEFL(PBT) 570, TOEFL(CBT) 230, TOEFL(IBT) 85, TOEIC 750, IELTS 6.0, TEPS 600, or TOPIK Level 5 (Institutional TOEFL is not accepted)

About Lab Head: Prof. Ilwhan Oh earned his PhD from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), one of the most prestigious high-education institutes in Korea. He worked as senior researcher in Samsung Electronics and as post-doctoral researcher in University of Illinois. He has published ~25 papers in high-impact journals and 6 patents and has managed several high-end government- and industry-funded research projects.
